Venture capital manager Primus Capital announced this week that it will invest HUF 400 million (EUR 1.33 million) in nanotechnology company BBS. The Debrecen-based medical firm became known as the developer of a pioneering method that is based on targeted chemotherapy and can be effectively used in tumour diagnostics and treatment. “Not only can this technology quicken the diagnostic process but therapy is much more effective with it,” Primus Capital financial director István Alpek said. The reason for the investment is the huge potential they see in the BBS method, Alpek said.
